Shell to consider the sale of it’s largest U.S. oil field in Texas


According to reports, Shell will consider selling its Permian assets in Texas to focus on the more profitable ones. Shell has about 260,000 acres in the Permian Basin, located mostly in Texas.

If implemented the sale could bring in as much as $10 billion, the sources said, on condition of anonymity because the talks are private.
