Mexico wants the Markets to dictate the price of oil, like Capitalism, should work. While others are already cutting sizeable chunks of their planned spending ie in the American shale oilfield, idling rigs, and revising drilling plans, Pemex is sticking with its plan to boost production.
This is probably one of those times The U.S is not in favor of the Markets dictating the price of oil.
